In 2008, Modern Midways added an
abundance of new equipment to accompany our already impressive arsenal of outstanding
rides, games, food, and support equipment.
The Century
Wheel is a spectacular, 60' tall gondola wheel capable of holding over 60 passengers per
ride cycle. At night, the Century Wheel can be seen for miles with its computerized
light show.
The Touchdown
was built by ARM of the UK and is one of a kind in the United States. As the
platform begins to spin, it raises in the air sending the free spinning tubs in every
which direction!
The Scooter is
a favorite among all ages. Patrons are able to drive small cars around the arena and
bump into their friends.
The Orbiter was
built in England and is one of the fastest midway rides to date. As the center
spins at 24 revolutions per minute the arms lift spinning the seat spindles at a dizzying
26 revolutions per minute! Hold on tight!
The
Carousel has been a midway tradition for ages among ages. This classic denzel
Carousel was built by Chance Rides of Wichita, Kansas.
